Bisley Launches New Anti-Microbial Paint, Biocote
This year, we’ve all witnessed first-hand how easily a virus can spread from surface to surface or person to person. Touch points have become a topic of conversation and how we can best protect ourselves whilst we move around our day-to-day lives.
Bisley, understand the importance of keeping surfaces clean to reduce the risk of bacteria transmission. With that in mind, it is pleased to introduce an anti-microbial paint for use on its furniture, Biocote.
Biocote is an anti-microbial paint that works actively against microbes with the aim to prevent them appearing by up to 99.99%. It is a fast-acting agent providing a level of protection with 15 minutes of application. Working alongside your usual cleaning products, Biocote will help to diminish the growth of bacteria keeping your furniture hygienic and clear of cross contamination. Bisley are providing long-term protection on Bisley furniture, with its new anti-microbial paint.
Paul Ostrolenk, Technical Director at Bisley commented on the latest development “The use of anti-microbial paint on our furniture means that the end user has the added protection from unwanted microbes. As a company, we are glad to be able to take the next step in making a difference to our customers. Following the ongoing events of this year this development is important, now more than ever.”
To further support healthy and hygienic working, Bisley also partnered with Vetrospace in May. Vetrospace, based in Finland, manufactures unique meeting pods and phone booths that incorporate critical health technology, including anti-microbial lighting, anti-viral nanocoating and clean-air ventilation. The result is the most hygienic, private modular spaces on the market.
The Biocote paint will initially be available in three of our most popular colours; Traffic White, Black and Light Grey. Other colours will also be available on a project by project basis.
