Introduced to the UK market is the brilliant QuickStand Eco, which combines sleek user-friendly design with expert engineering. Each of Humanscale’s QuickStands provide smooth, instant transitions between positions without interrupting workflow. QuickStand Eco is Humanscales’s most accessible sit/stand solution to date, able to sit on nearly any desktop it is the ideal choice for first time sit/stand users or those who need a flexible work station. A self-locking mechanism provides ultimate stability and functionality allowing users to move frequently throughout the day with ease. Built with Red Listfree materials (chemicals and materials that are not harmful to humans) and fewer parts for a smaller environmental footprint. It is a consumer friendly option making it easier than ever to integrate movement into the day for a healthier, more comfortable work experience.

Humanscale designs lighting solutions that underscore its commitment to innovation whilst showcasing the importance of dual source lighting from both a health/wellness and sustainable perspective. Its newest task light Infinity, boasts a sleek design alongside optimal usability and best of class light output, quality and distribution. The 2017 Red Dot winner for product design, produces 1500 lux illumination whilst an intuitive dimmer control customises nine levels of light, and a passive infrared occupancy sensor conserves energy.

The Trea chair is inspired by the simplest of nature’s structures to mimic the instinctive recline of the human body. Internationally renowned designer Todd Bracher crafted the chair’s sophisticated design. He describes the intuitive recline as one of the biggest features that sets the chair apart. “In developing Trea,” he says, “we investigated how nature had solved the problem of integrated articulation and
found inspiration in the lobster shell: an exoskeleton that moves in harmony with the living organism it protects. By following the cues of this natural design, we arrived at a solution that perfectly responds to the body’s natural movements, without knobs, dials and levers”.

Also designed by Todd Bracher is Vessel, a new category of lighting that offers both the benefits of quality architectural lighting and decorative lighting. Made from the highest quality quartz crystal, Vessel provides beautiful, glare-free light in a simple, refined form. Rather than taking a stylistic approach to lighting, Vessel was designed with a focus on physics and optical engineering, and emerged from the aim to achieve the highest possible quality of light. It offers perfect diffusion, is well balanced, and has a high colour rendering- resulting in a light that is functional and pure.
