Agua, the London based market leader in performance fabrics, will be launching new collections at Sleep + Eat 2019 (19-20 November) at London’s Olympia. The hospitality industry is a key market for Agua, within their extensive range of 600 plus upholstery performance fabrics there are many that have been designed specifically with the hospitality sector in mind. Launching at this years show will be the Tierra Eco collection, this is a new innovative 33% plant based eco friendly faux leather. Professional specifiers and their clients are more ecologically driven than ever and there has never been a higher demand for vegan products then there is now; which is why Agua are delighted to introduce Tierra Eco. Driven by Agua’s long tradition of innovation and technical excellence Tierra Eco uses a new manufacturing process which ultimately means that the plant based fibres are biodegradable. As you expect from Agua there is no compromise in performance and Tierra Eco achieves 100,000 Martindale abrasion rating.

Agua will also be relaunching the Mystique collection with an enhanced range of metallic finishes. Mystique was designed specifically for the hospitality, cruise and leisure sectors. The collection offers contemporary effects for upholstery schemes by incorporating textural designs including Atlas, Pegasus, Titan. Launching at Sleep & Eat will be new colourways; sophisticated warm hues of wine, petrol, blue and grey along with a selection of cool neutrals. All of the fabrics in the Mystique collection are anti-microbial, bleach cleanable, fire retardant to crib 5 as standard, martindale rating, phthalate-free, reach compliant, stain resistant and waterproof.
