Over 170 stands and thousands of surfaces to discover, this is the UK’s best platform for surface material discovery.

In addition to seeing and feeling the latest surface materials, visitors can learn from a number of experts in the built environment industry through the show’s packed schedule of seminars, talks, and CPDs. The programme kicks off this evening at the opening night Live Debate, in which several commentators will discuss the topic ‘A crisis for the next generation – is London just for the wealthy?’. Chaired by New London Architecture’s Peter Murray, this debate is bound to be interesting.

As the two go hand in hand in design, so too do surface materials and lighting at SDS18: Light School is an exhibition within the exhibition of new and novel lighting. Intended to help architects and designers better understand the ability of light to enhance every environment, Light school runs its own series of informative Light Talks with experts in the field.
