Fresh air – anywhere

Biophilia is a buzzword thrown around with various degrees of seriousness in the world of workplace interiors.

But one Finnish company has created a piece of extremely serious biophilic furniture. Naava green walls are environmentally responsive, technologically advanced vertical living walls that purify air-quality in interiors. It is claimed that one living wall has the same impact as 6000 potted plants.

Brought to London by Office Blueprint, the walls come in a small number of models that can be used as space dividers and, as they are lush with green foliage, beautiful design features.

The Naava systems hold plants – specifically chosen not to trigger allergies – in a no-soil mix of natural materials, formulated to eliminate issues with build ups of mould or harbouring pesky flies.
